PROGRAMMING
RCB and RCB Novus Ordo these are first published on Saturday every week.  RCB Novus Ordo differs from my freeform show in that it’s much shorter and focuses on just brand new recordings.

CD FOCUS is a special segment with music from top compilations and concept albums. Currently I feature Rock Back For Nepal by www.patetico-recordings.com All proceeds from the sales of their 3-volume compilation of music by rock/shoegaze artists go to the ongoing earthquake relief effort in Nepal.

SPONSORSHOP/SYNDICATION  Please inquire if you are involved an internet radio show or network, as I want to increase RCB’s visibility through such a network.   Further, I continue to seek sponsorship deals with services and businesses that believe in what I do.   Such businesses get mention on my website, on the show and in correspondence elsewhere on the Web.  Current top sponsors are Cyper PR  www.cyberpr.com   Miles High Productions  www.mileshighproductions.com  and Wampus Multimedia www.wampus.com      email dan@radiocrystalblue.net for details.

NEW BIZ

LIVING ARCHIVE: The finished look of this project will be a collection of quotes, both in word, and in audio/video, to help retell the story of Radio Crystal Blue.  Who do I want to hear from you? Ideally, you, the listener. Ideally, the people I have worked with and for over the years to help do live music events’’ those who were part of my audience in those days I had a very simple mic and Windows 98, and a questionable Java applet to make my dream a reality; the musicians whose music got featured “Gem” status and all others with repeated airplay over these 15 years.  I also am sorely lacking in old shows. Upon repeated data crashes over the years, I have lost years worth of shows. If you have any older shows in any format, please contact me at once.  Currently shows from mid-2011 to the present, plus a few from 2005, are at the Internet Archive.

NAME DROPPING: It’s been a few months since the last newsletter. Here are some online mentions of the show in the last month:

Outside of this program here’s what else is new and exciting:
Purchased and began to use a mid-1990’s Minolta SLR camera, the kind you use 35 mm film with.

Worked at an NHRA-sanctioned dragstrip, at their NitroMall, selling merchandise and keeping up good organizational standards. Had the opportunity to meet some drivers and their cars up close!

Visited Seattle for the first time!  The cover photo of my personal Facebook page is from my new film camera, a look at the Great Wheel and Puget Sound.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

I am accepting CDs and downloads for the rotation. CDs will be featured on  Radio Crystal Blue Novus Ordo, and eventually on RCB itself. To be eligible for a feature, music MUST be in CD format and have a 2015 release date and.  All other material will enter the rotation without a feature.
I’m  also interested in featuring great compilation or soundtrack albums as stated prior.
