Radio Crystal Blue week of 3/29/15 news

This is the latest edition of my periodic news on behalf of Radio Crystal

continually masters the art of freeform radio, with music from top indie,
underground and touring artists from all across the Web and the Earth at
large.

Commons License 4.0, full attribution, non-derivative, non-commercial.
PROGRAMMING
Next pair of podcasts will be published late into the week of February 22,
2015
RCB Novus Ordo airs as a separate podcast to highlight songs from brand-new
releases in one sitting, along with bio of each artist.
*****
Yeah, it’s been a few weeks. I’ve decided on fewer of these posts but am continuing to intend good quality info with each.   The important thing is that you continue to listen and enjoy the freeform radio experience.

I haven’t found much time for this but I still want to dig through the RCB archives and get some older shows from 2006 out to you all. They haven’t been heard since I first aired them live. Also I am available for interviews about myself and RCB.

I further intend to get to some live music events, and acquire some gear for that purpose. My Fujifilm camera is suddenly inoperable. I am planning to be at an event here in Tacoma on Thursday April 2. I’ve had to borrow another camera for the occasion.  I may get a Canon Vixia HD camcorder in the future; the same device I used when studying audio/visual work with PhillyCAM (Philadephia’s public-access cable TV station) 3 years ago.
CLAMMR is not a show, but a feed of audiobites arranged much like Twitter. This particular app is designed currently for the Apple universe; it will add more portals soon.  You can join and add radiocblue to get my posts, which are 18-second soundbites of every song I air.  You can refer to publisher.clammr.com to get started. And you can get my feed, suitable for framing, if you will, at http://www.clammr.com/player/embed/15732
RECAP of March shows:
Notable debuts include The Burns Sisters (contemporary/traditional Celtic folk), Barnstar! (supergroup of modern folk in New England), veteran songwriter James Hurley, newcomer TJ Doyle, RCB faves Spuyten Duyvil (Americana/roots/folk), Paul Sawtelle & The Brotherhood Of Soul,  Within the rotation were these debuts: James McMurtry (first new album in years), and Antigone Rising (veteran country/rock group).
The 3/22 show included a perennial segment featuring artists who were part of this year’s Singer Songwriter Cape May. Berkalin Records, run by Brian Kalinec, held an anniversary show, and I included a mini-segment of their clients performing that show.   The 3/15 show, the one before the equinox, included the customary selection of Celtic/Irish songs (I was feeling more of the protest songs that day), and a fun tune by The Sprinkle Genies, whom is still beloved by the antifolk community in NYC.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
I am accepting CDs and downloads for the rotation. CDs will be featured on Radio Crystal Blue Novus Ordo, and eventually on  Music must have a 2014-15 release date. I’ll accept material not older than 6 months from the present
date.   Any older material will not receive a featured debut; instead, they
will be placed within the long rotation and selection process for future
shows.
I’m also interested in featuring, great compilation or soundtrack
albums\track-for-track, to help tell the story of those albums.
EPK (Electronic press kits) submissions can be sent via one of these
companies.
Search for the words Radio Crystal Blue to find my pages there. If I like
the EPK, I will then ask for a CD.
CDs that fit in the above rules may be sent to
