THE LATEST
This week I continue to ride out a long period of having no identification,
the ramifications of which are immense. In relation to my show, I’m happy at
least to have a place to call home.  The bills are cutting into my meager
savings, so I’m intending some better results. I aim to have a regular
income again and to make some inroads networking without traveling too far
from home.
I’m beginning to receive CD packages here, which is a positive step . I
wonder whether you have my new address. It’s posted onto the website, and
I’ll reprint below. I’ve joined the fledgling social network ELLO this week
upon receiving an official invite.  The network is small and growing in
small ways. This week it added more options for sharing.   I’m at
www.ello.co/radiocblue  To join the network you’ll need an invitation code,
so see me for one.  My goal is to post more exclusive content than you’ll
expect on other social media platforms.

RCB REWIND: The annotated version of the shows.
RCB Novus Ordo: Hot Rod Pacer is a new folk rock group helmed by
producer-songwriter Fred Gillen Jr. I consider him among the hardest working
men in folk.  Long Island NY’s Ray Lambiase returns with another great
collection of songwriter fare. I’m also impressed by the folk trio The Early
Mays, who have their debut on this program as well.
RCB:  Program starts with my own audio recording of the local traffic
situation, complete with nbrand new audio traffic control for pedestrians.
Neil Young & Pearl Jam collaborated on a stellar album, and Big Green
Country felt like an appropo place to start my first show outside of the
east coast.  The Neko Case tune is a given considering I’m now living just
south of South Tacoma, in Parkland.  Segment 1 includes another new tune
from jam band Achilles Wheel, plus a track from The Knollwood Boys, whom I
haven’t heard from since the CD release.  Segment 2: Annalise Emerick
releases a new album herself. Segment 3: I absolutely love the new music by
Britt Connors along with her band Bourbon Renewal.  One more bit of airplay
for the individual artists who are the No Fuss & Feathers Roadshow. Final
segment: Brother Sun & The Chapin Sisters are a double bill at Outpost In
The Burbs in Montclair NJ on 11/14.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
I focus on CDs as opposed to downloads, though I make exceptions in the
event of albums that are digital releases only. Music must have a 2014
release date. All new albums debut on RCB Novus Ordo; on rare exception,
some debut on Radio Crystal Blue proper.
I’m also interested in featuring, great compilation or soundtrack albums
track-for-track, to help tell the story of those album (see above).
EPK (Electronic press kits) submissions can be sent via one of these
companies.

THE LATEST
If you’ve read my posts on Facebook, I kept you abreast of my half-week journey via Greyhound from South Philadelphia to downtown Tacoma, arriving on Thursday 10/16.  The experience was harrowing, as I had some trouble with the boxes that contained all my worldly possessions.  The boxes would eventually be shipped from Columbus OH to Tacoma, and it was a matter of waiting for them to appear.    I enjoyed seeing the scenery of the Western States, especially in Oregon, Colorado and Utah.   I only wish I had packed my point-and-shoot so that I could capture the experience.   In the process of picking up the boxes, I would lose my laptop bag, which was carrying most of my identification, so I’m not exactly out of the woods yet in getting all settled in.
I am living with a couple, Tim and Lora Nichols (the latter whom you may know better as DJ Flowerdove) who are fans of my show and they have successfully figured out the technical aspects of getting the podcast set up.  I had forgotten the actual settings and where the wires connect but now all appears well.     Now the connecting to public-relations people, artists and their managers is starting.  I aim to record a new podcast early next week, when given the appropriate time to do so.
I have added a 2nd phone number, and have officially changed my physical address. All other contact information remains the same.
