ALSO: The next podcast will include more music from David Uoskkinen’s In The Pocket: Essential Songs Of Philadelphia “Sessions” album. The album contains 10 songs, all from artists with strong Philly ties. 2 songs shall be aired from this exciting concept album.
RCB Novus Ordo is a separate podcast with 6-8 songs, one each from a brand new recording. I spin the music and give you the backstory of each artist.
RCB Novus Ordo: What is there to say about Vance Gilbert? Elements of every type of Vance song is in the one I spun this week, which actually is a little more uptempo than others. The humor, the perspective, it’s all there. Kerri Powers and that voice of hers….heard in full expression on her newest album that you’ll hear when you download or stream this podcast.
SUBMISSION GUIDLINES
I focus on CDs as opposed to downloads, though I make exceptions in the event of albums that are digital releases only. Music must have a 2014 release date or not released otherwise before July 2013. All new albums debut on RCB Novus Ordo; on rare exception, some debut on Radio Crystal Blue proper.
I’m also interested in featuring, great compilation or soundtrack albums track-for-track, to help tell the story of those albums.
