PROGRAMMING:
NEXT SHOW will be published on or about November 20 and will be available for about 1 year. I usually publish on Wednesdays or as soon as possible thereafter. You will hear music in several segments of top indie/DIY/underground songwriters and bands. RCB Novus Ordo is a separate podcast with 6 songs, one each from a brand new recording. I spin the music and give you the backstory of each artist.

I don’t quite have a place in mind to relocate to and I don’t know if I can reasonably do so with little to no finances (along with the means of transporting what little stuff I have here). If any of you reading this has insight into this situation, please contact me via email: cblue456@comcast.net
HOLIDAY music: My last show for the year will be the week of December 15. This is the annual show focusing on seasonal music for this time of the year. If you know of artists who have music for Christmas or similar end-of-year holidays, or even simply for December, have them send it along.

RCB REWIND:
RCB Novus Ordo: The library here is running thin so I went with a 6-song show instead of my usual 8. Leah Jee and Shauna Burns, both clients of RCB supporter Miles High Productions, are heard first. Leah, from SoCal, has a bracing rockstar stance with elements of punk (a bit like Pink in that regard). Shauna continues her conceptual Celtic-tinged music. Tori Roze & The Hot Mess come highly regarded, and we’ll likely hear much more of this band over tme. Deborah Crooks first received airplay from me back in 2003, and the trend continues with her new album, debuting here as well.
RCB proper: Segment 1 gives us music from TX-area touring songwriters Slaid Cleaves and Mary Gauthier back to back. Both happen to share the same radio promoter; that’s how I got the music. The theme with the first segment seems to be about journeying, and Amanda Pearcy winds up that journey, putting the listener in New Orleans. Segment 2 gives us more new music from Baltimore’s The Last Year, and Pittsburghs’s Carla Bianco. Segment 3: Brand new music from Seattle songwriter Jean Mann in the mix. I noticed after the fact that both she and Rani Arbo cover Springsteen on their recordings. Tony Halchak with a seasonal song here too. Segment 4: Danny Schmidt and Carrie Elkin continue to double bill across the US. We hear Judy Insley once again from her new album.
