PROGRAMMING:
NEXT SHOW will be published on or about April 17 and will be available
for about 1 year. You will hear music in several segments of top
indie/DIY/underground songwriters and bands.
RCB Novus Ordo is a separate podcast with 6-8 songs, one each from a brand new recording. I spin the music and give you the backstory of each artist.
I don’t proclaim to have all of the best material from the best indie and underground artists. I might not have the best equipment. Despite these facts, here’s one more for you readers: My heart is in the right place. Radio Crystal Blue cannot exist without people who willfully support the show. I have no desire to be like the commercial stations, no matter how popular and marketed they are. I have enough desire to have the show grow and expand to something where it becomes your go-to for new music and a true sense of radio, in a format that belongs on the airwaves and in this era of podcasting. If I do not have or show that desire, this show fails to exist. That desire is still very strong, and I can only keep it going with those of you who give a damn.

PROGRAM UPDATE: I’m happy to report that I will debut a new compilation over the next 5 podcasts, including this week’s edition:
David Uosikkinen’s In The Pocket: Essential Songs Of Philadelphia: Sessions contains 10 songs, all from artists with strong Philly ties. Some amazing artists, including members of David’s own band The Hooters make appearances. The Hooters were one of several artists that helped to bring Philly’s own music scene to a national audience

SUBMISSION GUIDLINES
I focus on CDs as opposed to downloads, though I make exceptions in the event of albums that are digital releases only. Music must have a 2014 release date or not released otherwise before July 2013. All new albums debut on RCB Novus Ordo; on rare exception, some debut on Radio Crystal Blue proper.
I’m also interested in featuring, great compilation or soundtrack albums track-for-track, to help tell the story of those albums.

RCB REWIND:
RCB Novus Ordo: Fun raucous music from The Bloody Jug Band, right down to their stage names. Peter Mulvey returns with a new album, and I spun one tune that channels his inner rock-n’-roll start. Sharon Glassman is releasing a series of EPs with the concept revolving around characters in modern day Hoboken NJ. Sharon uses her creative faculties to the fullest, with experience as musician, and actor.
